YOUTH WERE URGED TO DESIST FROM DRUG INTAKE BY ENGINEER SULEIMAN J.G DECRIED OF ADDICTED SOCIETY



The Director Entrepreneurship, Networking and Social Mobilization, Niger State Ministry of Youth Development, Engineer Suleiman J.G decried that Youth are becoming addicted to drugs.

The Director who further revealed that Youth constituted about 70% of the state population should desist from drug intake in order to avoid an addicted society.

Engineer Suleiman J.G made this known during an interactive session with the Kpakungu Youth Development Association who paid a familiarization visit to his office.

The Director stressed out that the ministry's engagement process with the youth is to make the beneficiaries self employed and independent in order for the youth to become employers of labor, Engineer J.G urged the Youth to take the opportunities and advantage created by government to excel.

The Director finally charged the Youth to embarked on educational pursuit or skills acquisition programs through attitudinal reorientation to advance themselves.

Meanwhile, the Chairman Kpakungu Youth Development Association, Comrade Umar Sanda, thanked the Director for the counselling session bothering on drugs and addiction, the Chairman promised to step down the lesson and experiences acquired during the interaction, he finally commended the ministry and its management for the service done to the state.
